I know it was a divisive season, but Horgan being eleventh in the odds is kinda ridiculous

I really wish there was not such a long gap between votes closing and noms being announced.
I do wonder if it’s necessary in 2025.
On the plus side at least it gives campaigners a few weeks to breathe

I hate it too, especially compared to the Oscars which is like 20 days tops inbetween End of cycle and noms but i think it is theoretically necessary to have a bigger one for tv as it is a more demanding medium with more hours to be viewed overall.

I do agree they probably already saw what they’re voting for atp but in theory the break is understandable.

I feel like I’d rather an extra week between noms and winners than close of voting and noms being announced? 3+ weeks just seems a lot in this media landscape.

I think both could use a little space to breathe tbh.
