On the plus side at least it gives campaigners a few weeks to breatheI hate it too, especially compared to the Oscars which is like 20 days tops inbetween End of cycle and noms but i think it is theoretically necessary to have a bigger one for tv as it is a more demanding medium with more hours to be viewed overall.
I do agree they probably already saw what they’re voting for atp but in theory the break is understandable.

I feel like I’d rather an extra week between noms and winners than close of voting and noms being announced? 3+ weeks just seems a lot in this media landscape.
